In an effort to increase the viewership of his new television program, Piers Morgan has disqualified Susanna Reid, his former Good Morning Britain partner.

According to sources, the reports Morgan suggested poaching her from the ITV program are “absolute nonsense,” and he will continue to host his evening chat show, which is broadcast on Rupert Murdoch’s new channel TalkTV.

There is no such plan, one responded. The only presenter of Piers’ own show will continue to be him.

There is a lot of nonsense being said regarding the show’s future, such as that Piers and Susanna will return as a duo.

According to a report in yesterday’s issue of The Guardian, Morgan had told Murdoch that Miss Reid, a former BBC Breakfast anchor, might be the reason for the show’s lower-than-expected ratings.

When given the chance to remark on the situation, Miss Reid’s spokesperson remained silent.

However, it is not anticipated that she will depart ITV, where she co-hosts Good Morning Britain with Richard Madeley, Ben Shepherd, and Adil Ray. She has a planned break from the show right now.

When he joined the program in October 2015, Morgan and Miss Reid, 51, turned into a successful recipe for ITV.

More than 1.2 million people tuned in during the coronavirus outbreak, attesting to how well-liked their on-screen chemistry was among viewers.

Fans of the show also spoke a lot about Miss Reid’s eye roll in response to Morgan’s remarks.

However, Morgan departed the program in March of last year after refusing to issue an apology for remarks he made on the Duchess of Sussex’s interview with US talk show host Oprah Winfrey, in which she claimed that the experience had left her suicidal.

Only 64,000 people were watching Morgan’s brand-new weekday show, which debuted last month.

However, it is said that the presenter and his colleagues are thrilled with the attention they have garnered on social media.

According to Morgan, 5.3 million people watched his conversation with RMT president Mick Lynch on Tuesday.

He claims the number comprised 3.6 million Twitter users, 1.2 million TikTok users, over 400,000 Facebook users, and 8,000 Instagram users.
Since the start of his show, Morgan has landed high-profile interviews with people like Donald Trump and Caitlin Jenner. Rebekah Vardy, who recently squared off against Coleen Rooney in the Wagatha Christie court, is also reportedly the subject of his negotiations.

Richard Wallace, a former Daily Mirror editor, was named the channel’s executive producer on Wednesday by TalkTV’s owners, News UK.

He and Morgan, 57, have been good friends since their time together at the tabloid newspaper.

Wallace previously held the position of executive producer for the American reality television program America’s Got Talent at Simon Cowell’s Syco entertainment company.

Jeremy Kyle, a former ITV presenter, will take over for Morgan during his summer hiatus from his TalkTV program.
