Before the Platinum Jubilee, Piers Morgan stated Harry and Meghan’s reunion with the Royal Family was ‘frosty.’
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 37 and 40, slipped behind the scenes at the Trooping of the Colour, according to Piers, 57.
His royal sources claimed the atmosphere was icy and strained, according to the father-of-four.
‘The rest of the family went into the garden and were milling around when they just vanished,’ Piers explained.
‘So there is already a lot of tension there and the only glue it seems in this whole tension is The Queen and she’s not going to be there.’
During the occasion commemorating the monarchy’s 70th year, Piers rekindled his feud with Meghan.
He also indicated to his 7.9 million Twitter followers that Prince Louis’ reaction to the royal flypast, in which he famously held his ears and frowned, was to something else.
‘Is this when Aunty Meghan arrived?’ said a provocative Piers. with a series of photos of the little prince on the balcony making faces.
It wasn’t his only jab at Meghan that day, when he was covering events for Fox News as part of his £50 million global deal with Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp empire.
‘Meghan and Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have flown in from California,’ he said on Fox.
‘They’re not allowed on the balcony either because they’re not deemed to be working royals in the sense of doing any work for duty.
‘They do it all for money from Netflix, so they’ve been shoved out the back, that sort of little outhouse at the back of the palace.’
