A pregnant woman walking her two children is attacked by a teenager on a scooter, as shown in horrifying video.
Around 12:40 p.m. on Monday, the 37-year-old mother was strolling along a Perth laneway in Smallman Place, Ashfield, with her two kids when the 15-year-old girl came up behind her.
CCTV shows the teenager yanking the woman by her hair down the concrete pavement.
As she was being pulled, the mother attempted desperately to grasp onto her falling pram.
Shortly after, the 15-year-old was detained by the police on suspicion of trying to take the woman’s purse.
Video of her arrest shows her cursing at police while other family members sob in the background.
Police were worried about the mother’s pregnancy since she fell into her stomach during the assault, but she just sustained minor scrapes and bruises.
The teenager will appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on September 13 after being charged with one count of robbery.
To assist in locating the girl, the police released CCTV video of the assault.
Crime Stoppers is asking anybody with pertinent information to get in touch.
Prior to the assault, video captured the 15-year-old following a small girl down the alley on a scooter.
Although the incident seems to have only involved one of the girls according to CCTV evidence, a second unidentified individual was detained from the home of the 15-year-old.
