Saturday night, Patti LaBelle was pulled offstage at her show in Milwaukee due to a bomb threat.
Audience members at the Riverside Theater captured footage of LaBelle crying as three men yanked her microphone stand away and left the stage while she was addressing the crowd.
A member of the staff was observed pulling her by the arm and forcing her to drop the bouquet of flowers she was carrying before escorting her away without explanation.
The singer’s band swiftly followed, while concertgoers could be heard questioning, “What happened?”
Later, organizers stated the performance had been canceled and ultimately rescheduled owing to a significant security threat.

“Due to a bomb threat investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department, tonight’s Patti LaBelle performance at the Riverside Theater has been postponed,” Pabst Theater Group said in a statement.
After 78-year-old LaBelle was removed from the stage, authorities evacuated the entire theater. The incident is still being investigated, according to a police statement relayed by a reporter from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
LaBelle appeared perplexed as she was hauled away by staff without explanation.

“All guests have been evacuated safely,” the statement stated. “Police are currently clearing the facility. The investigation is continuous and fluid.
Fans were eager to turn to social media, with one user sharing video from outside the cinema as patrons poured onto the street.
According to authorities, the inquiry is underway.
“We are unsure if we can re-enter the venue,” the woman capturing the footage can be heard saying.
“It is up to the Riverside Theater whether we can return inside, but at this time everything has come to a halt.”
