One dead , multiple injured in a serious taxi collision on the R102 Darnall

IPSS Medical Rescue arrived at the site of a taxi and truck collision earlier this evening.

At the hectic situation where IPSS Medical arrived, thirteen people were suffering from critical to serious injuries.

Five patients were stabilized by IPSS Medical advanced life support paramedics before being sent to a neighboring institution for additional care.

Other services including Alert and EMRS treated and transported eight individuals to the hospital.

Sadly, one victim suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the site.

We appreciate the excellent teamwork from all the agencies on the scene, especially KDM Traffic and Mandeni Fire.
