OGUN STATE GOVERNOR, PRINCE DAPO ABIODUN APPROVES THE CONSTITUTION OF AN AD HOC COMMITTEE OF STATE FOR 2022 HAJJ OPERATIONS

The Governor of Ogun State has appointed an ad hoc committee to oversee Hajj operations in 2022.

Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, has approved the formation of an Ad hoc Committee of the state’s Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, the chairman is Alhaji Kehinde Husayn Lawal, and the Amirl-Hajj is Prof Kamal Balogun.

Dr. Kola Olawunmi, Sheikh Iskeel Lawal Sugar, Sheikh Rufai Sile, and Imam AbdulGaniyu Ejalonibu have also been appointed as members.

Imam Uthman Fasasi Akeukowo, Imam AbdulWasiu Adeniyi Akinboyede, Alhaji Tunde Oladunjoye, Alhaja Bisola Aliu, Dr. Kamilu Akano Raji, and Alhaja Yemi Kudirat Rabiu are the remaining members.

The ad hoc commission will oversee the state pilgrims’ Hajj operations in 2022, the statement concluded.
