Married Cop Accused of Threatening His Co-worker

Lieutenant Wilder Lucas of the New York Police Department (NYPD) has been accused of threatening to throw his co-worker under a train if she exposed their alleged affair.

Lucas is also facing allegations of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend and demanding that she participates in threesomes.

Ammy Ventura, a 40-year-old single mother and civilian employee of the NYPD property division, is suing both Lucas and the city, claiming unspecified damages under allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination.

Details of the Alleged Sexual Harassment

Ventura claims that she started dating the 41-year-old Lucas in April 2021, believing that he was divorced.

The relationship lasted for five months, during which time Ventura claimed that Lucas became aggressive and vicious towards her.

She claims that Lucas demanded that she performs oral sex on him after a date at a shooting range in May 2021, where he taught her to fire a gun.

When she refused, he allegedly told her to ‘shut the f**k up!’

Lucas allegedly threatened Ventura against exposing their affair, saying ‘I’ll f****** kill you’ and threatening to push her in front of a train.

He also demanded that she deletes evidence of their relationship from her phone and from the cloud.

Sexual Assault Allegations

Ventura ended her relationship with Lucas in September 2021, shortly after he invited her to the Dominican Republic.

However, in the court documents, Ventura claims that Lucas sexually assaulted her during an incident in his office in August 2022.

She claims that he grabbed her by her hair, pulled her behind his desk, and forced her to give him oral sex while his office door was wide open, against her will.

Ventura says she felt ‘paralyzed and completely powerless to stop the violent attack’ and ‘powerless’ to speak out against him.

Legal Proceedings and Response from NYPD

Ventura is suing Lucas and the city, claiming unspecified damages under allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination.

Lucas denies all allegations against him, saying, ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about.’

The NYPD released a statement saying that sexual discrimination is prohibited by federal, state, and city laws, and the department takes seriously all accusations of such behavior.

The department also added that it thoroughly investigates all complaints it receives and offers several reporting options for NYPD employees, including anonymously.

The department does not tolerate discrimination in any form and is committed to respectful work environments for its diverse workforce.
