Noah Schnapp, who portrays Will Byers on the smash Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things, has come out as gay.

Netflix has released the official trailer for ‘Stranger Things’ season four.

NOAH stated, “I am more similar to Will.”

Thursday, Noah Schnapp confirmed his sexual orientation after posting a Tik Tok video of himself in bed. The performer, lip-syncing to voice-over audio, adds, “Do you know what it was never? That severe. Never was it that serious. Sincerely, that will never be the case.” The video was accompanied by a statement that stated, “When I finally told my family and friends that I was gay, all they said was, ‘We know.’”

Noah captioned the photo, “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I originally believed.”

Fans flocked to the comment area to praise him for coming out, while some expressed disbelief at his sexual orientation. Since the premiere of Stranger Things, fans have pondered his character’s sexual orientation.

NOAH reveals his character’s homosexual orientation.
In a July 2022 interview with Variety, Noah confirmed that his character was homosexual.

Obviously, it was alluded to in Season 1; it was always kind of there, but you never knew for sure; is he simply maturing more slowly than his peers? Schnapp said.

He continued, “Now that he’s older, they’ve made it extremely real and evident. Now it is completely evident that he is gay and that he loves Mike.”

Will’s amorous side became more apparent in season four, when he appeared to be infatuated with his friend Mike Wheeler.

Schnapp remarked, “I think it’s done so well because it’s so simple to make a character suddenly homosexual.” He stated that avid followers of the programme have shared touching stories about their connection to his character. “People have approached me; I was recently in Paris when a 40-year-old man approached me and said, ‘Wow, this Will character made me feel so amazing. And I related to it a great deal. That is precisely who I was as a child. That made me extremely delighted to hear. They are writing so eloquently about this real character, this real journey, and this real battle.”
