Ryan Collier, 34, passed suddenly in October 2020, after two weeks after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a fall at the Sun Apart Hotel in Marmaris.

When disaster struck, he was at the resort with his partner, Donna Noble, on a break from his security work in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

Vicky Ross, a coroner officer, stated that six witness statements had been obtained and that their versions had “inconsistent details.”

The tragedy of British tourist Ryan Collier, who fell to his death from the fourth-floor balcony of his hotel in Turkey, is shrouded in mystery.

The chief coroner of Sunderland, Derek Winter, said that it was ‘impossible’ to determine whether Collier had committed suicide or had fallen accidently as he finished an inquest that had been begun immediately after Ryan’s death. The 34-year-old passed away in October 2020 almost two weeks after suffering serious injuries in the fall at the Sun Apart Hotel in Marmaris (pictured)

Ms. Ross stated, “Four witnesses stated that people were yelling for him to get off the balcony, but he immediately descended.”

The daughter of Ryan’s partner reported seeing him standing on the railings before he “suddenly leaped down.” His partner also reported that he was standing on the railings when he “jumped”

Other witnesses mentioned Ryan hanging or sitting on the balcony railings.

Mrs. Ross stated that, in conjunction with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, significant efforts had been made to gather more evidence, such as text messages exchanged by the group, but to no avail.

Mr. Winter stated that it was impossible to determine why Ryan had fallen and whether he had intended to commit himself or had fallen by accident: He stated, “If I understood that, I would record the right result.”

Brian, the 66-year-old father of Ryan, stated after the hearing, “The conclusion is what we anticipated.” We knew Ryan had not committed suicide, but we feared he might say so.

We will likely never discover all the answers.

Pathologist Dr. Jennifer Bolton testified at the inquest that the cause of death was bronchial pneumonia caused by a head injury.

According to some witnesses, Ryan left a restaurant with his partner, her kid, and a friend after an altercation caused him to leave, however he returned later.

The gang proceeded to their hotel for a drink. Ryan stated he was returning to his room, and shortly thereafter he was spotted on the balcony.

After suffering a heart arrest, he was transferred to a private hospital in Turkey and placed on life support, the Sunderland Echo reported previously.

Ryan sustained a shattered hand, a broken neck, and brain swelling, according to his family.
