A British carer ‘with a heart of gold’ dies on Sunday after she fell from a seventh-floor balcony

According to her relatives, a British caregiver “with a heart of gold” passed away on Sunday after falling from a seventh-floor balcony while on vacation in Turkey.

After spending three weeks in Turkey with friends, Jenna Smith was eager to get back home the following week.

Tragically, the 34-year-family old reported that they were informed by the Turkish Embassy that she died on Sunday after falling from a balcony and they are still awaiting further details.

Jenna was quoted as stating at the Dream Homes Sitesi Alanya condominium complex in Alanya, Turkey’s central Mediterranean coast, in a Facebook post by her sister Daniella (also known as the Turkish Riviera).

Her two brothers have taken a flight to the nation today to engage with Turkish officials in order to learn more about their sister’s passing.

Hayley Weston, a family friend who has known Jenna since she was five years old, paid tribute to Jenna and called her “bubbly” and “kind.”

She claimed that Jenna was well-liked by her friends, a “kind” caregiver who had experience working in a variety of care facilities, and was highly family-oriented.

‘Jenna was widely loved, effervescent, and a really cheerful girl,’ said Hayley, 28. She was talkative and had a large social circle.

Jenna was well-liked, had a variety of friends, but she also constantly made new acquaintances because she was so gregarious.

She was incredibly kind, had a heart of gold, and was willing to sacrifice anything for anyone.

Since Jenna’s mother had died when she was a little child, she took care of her naan and grandad.

She worked in various care facilities as a caregiver, according to Hayley. That was who she was; she was loving by nature.

According to Hayley, Jenna hails from Waterside in the Bootle/Netherton neighbourhood of Liverpool and was raised by her grandmother Beryl and grandfather Alex Smith.

She has two brothers and a sister named Joe, Tony, and Danielle.

As someone who grew up with Jenna and her family, Hayley, Jenna’s next-door neighbour, described her as a “elder sister.”

I have known them for the majority of my life and have grown up with them, the woman who is now 28 added.

Without Jenna’s knowledge, Danielle and I would “rob” her clothes and try to put them back; when she found out, she would lose her mind.

We would follow her about, and whenever she was with her friends or had friends over, we would barge in and attempt to act like the little class clowns, making a spectacle out of her.

We spent nights out together as we became older. We have essentially matured together.

She served as the equivalent of the elder sister I never had—that older role model.

She enjoyed laughing, going out with friends, and socialising.

Added Hayley With her family, Jenna was happiest.

She enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them.

Jenna was highly focused on her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Everyone hated her, but they still loved her.

In order to assist Jenna’s family with funeral expenses and with returning the 34-year-old from Turkey, the 28-year-old has now created a GoFundMe campaign.

As you would imagine, everyone is utterly upset, and Hayley said on the fundraising page, “I wanted to take the strain off them, without having to worry about expense.”

“If anyone has any donations to spare, it would be highly appreciated, and I know they would be very appreciative.”

This shouldn’t happen to any family.

Ste Pilson and Dean Ashton, two of Jenna’s friends, are also running 20 miles in her honour.

They are hoping that the funds raised will aid in getting Jenna home and in making burial arrangements.

A balloon release in Jenna’s honour will also be held on the Waterside fields, according to family and friends.

This will either occur the day before the funeral or on that day.
