Moment Johnny Depp makes a joke with a child about the finger Amber Heard severed.

While hundreds of adoring fans rushed Johnny Depp after a show on Thursday night, he joked about the finger he alleges Amber Heard cut.

The 58-year-old actor has been in England as part of singer Jeff Beck’s tour, and he made an appearance at Sage Gateshead in the north of England on Thursday night.

Despite his recent legal troubles, Depp appeared to be in high spirits as he stepped out after the show to greet fans, signing autographs and posing for photos with a gathering of around 200 people who had gathered near the stage door to see him leave.

On Wednesday, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was awarded $15 million in his defamation action against his ex-wife Amber Heard in the United States.

When asked about his triumph in the defamation suit, he remained tight-lipped, refusing to answer any questions concerning the ruling.

He did, however, make a joke about the finger he alleges Amber Heard severed during their fight in Australia, an ordeal he detailed in court.

He leant down, pointed at a child’s fingers, and remarked, ‘You have five, I have four and seven eighths,’ while smiling and signing autographs. Mad.’

‘She [Amber Heard] had hurled a bottle of vodka and chopped my finger off,’ he testified during the trial. It’s the tip of my index finger. ‘Quite a bit.’

‘I miss it,’ he added, a short smile on his face.

After winning his lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, Depp was greeted with applause as he returned to the stage.

As he walked onto the platform, the audience erupted in cheers, prompting Beck to joke, ‘There’s someone here.’ It’s possible you have no idea who it is…’

‘What a result,’ Beck continued, referring to the actor’s court victory the day before. What a triumph!’

Depp beamed as he walked onto the stage, playing guitar and singing a variety of rock ballads, but he made no mention of the court case.

The actor also left to acclaim and cheers before returning for an encore performance of A Day in the Life by The Beatles, which ended with them embracing.

Beck went on to tell the audience that they had met five years ago and that they had worked on an album that was ‘coming out in July,’ before adding, ‘Really, the s**t guy has been through.’

It comes after Depp sued his ex-wife Heard, 36, for $50 million for a 2018 article she wrote alleging she had been the victim of domestic abuse.
