After winning the Amber Heard trial, Johnny Depp takes to TikTok to thank his supporters for their unrelenting support

Johnny Depp has taken to TikTok to thank his followers for their support during his defamation case against Amber Heard.

On Tuesday, the star shared a video compilation that included footage of him arriving at the courthouse to a throng of fans, as well as clips of him later playing guitar on stage with his friend’s band.

‘To all of my most cherished, devoted, and unshakable followers,’ he captioned the 30-second video. We’ve been everywhere together and witnessed everything. We’ve both been along the same path.

‘Because you cared, we did the right thing together.’ And now we’ll all work together to move forward.

‘You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you.

‘My love & respect, JD’.

Depp joined TikTok on Tuesday to thank fans for their support throughout the trial

The video was viewed 200,000 times in the first few minutes of being online.

The trial lasted several months and every minute was devoured by TikTok fans. Johnny was the undoubted favorite, dominating hashtags and trends over his ex-wife.

On Tuesday, users welcomed him to the app with open arms.

‘JOHNNY’S FIRST TIKTOK!’ one proclaimed in the comments section.

‘We always stand with you Johnny!’ said another.

Meanwhile, Depp’s star attorney Camille Vasquez has been promoted at her law firm.

She was the trial’s breakthrough celebrity, the subject of numerous memes and TikTok videos.

In its announcement, the firm said: ‘Vasquez was a crucial member of the litigation team that obtained a jury verdict on June 1, 2022 for actor Johnny Depp in his defamation action against ex-wife Amber Heard.’

‘Historically, we have held this announcement until the conclusion of our fiscal year,’ stated the company’s CEO.

‘However, Camille’s performance in the Johnny Depp trial demonstrated to the rest of the world that she was ready to take this next step.’

Depp filed a defamation suit against Heard after she penned an op-ed on surviving domestic abuse.

The jury determined that she defamed him by erroneously implying that he had assaulted her.

After deductions, Heard was ordered to pay Depp $8 million.

She has now stated that she is unable to do so.
