The corpse of a beloved autistic youngster who had been missing for three weeks was discovered by his family at a morgue, and the Soshanguve family is still in shock.
The death of Ezra Mahlangu was discovered in a Ga-Rankuwa Zone 5 m
orgue on september 21, 2022, according to his relatives.
The 16-year-old child, who is autistic and deaf, was reported missing in August, and his family has been travelling nationwide in search of him, according to Rekord.
According to Mahlangu’s brother, the 16-year-old has been at the morgue since August 29, 2022.
The brother said they had many unanswered issues since despite the abundance of signs advertising missing persons, nobody even asked them to see the unidentified deceased person they have at the morgue.
He said that the family is awaiting word from the investigating officer on the location and manner of his death.
He questioned, “It seems that my brother was struck by a vehicle near the R80 Mabopane highway, but we never heard of an accident there, and if that occurred, how did he end up in a Ga-Rankuwa mortuary when there are mortuaries in Soshanguve?”
