Merseyside collision kills two 12-year-old girls

In a horrifying collision in Merseyside, two 12-year-old girls were hit by a vehicle and taken by ambulance to the hospital.

In Poulton Road in Wallasey, on the Wirral, a Honda V-Tec struck the two kids.

Around 5.25 p.m. today, emergency services were summoned to a “severe road traffic accident.”

The driver is aiding with inquiries, according to Merseyside Police.

Due to significant traffic restrictions, the area is to be avoided and the route is blocked in both directions.

Merseyside Police issued a statement that said, “We are in Wallasey as a result of a significant road traffic incident this evening, Sunday, October 2.

Emergency services were summoned to the intersection of Poulton Road and Eastcroft Road at approximately 5.25 p.m. due to reports of a Honda V-Tec colliding with two female pedestrians, both 12 years old.

Both have been brought to the hospital for evaluation, and the stretch of road between Devereux Drive and Greencroft Road is still closed. The driver is answering questions.
