A two-vehicle collision in Drinan kills a 73-year-old man


»A two-vehicle collision in Drinan kills a 73-year-old man«

A 73-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Drinan Friday afternoon.

A Kia Sportage traveling south on Walaville Goondoon Road through Wallaville collided with an approaching Toyota Prado at around 5:45 p.m.

The sole passenger and driver of the Kia, a 73-year-old man from Drinan, was pronounced dead at the site.

The driver and two passengers of the Prado had non-life threatening injuries; a 20-year-old Kalkie man, a 51-year-old Kalkie woman, and a 20-year-old Woongarra man.

The police are requesting that any witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is conducting an investigation.
