The top-performing matriculant at Reddford House The Hills in Pretoria wished to pursue medicine at the University of Cape Town (UCT) but was still awaiting funds.

Aphiwe Hlatshwayo, a former head girl, earned six distinctions on her final matric exams.

According to News24, she is also in the top 5% of Independent Examinations Board applicants nationally for various courses.

According to sources, Haltshwayo’s first- and second-semester grades declined because she spent so much time on extracurricular activities.

“When someone requests my assistance, I will provide it immediately, putting everything aside to help the next person until I have no time left for myself.”

She reflected and decided to concentrate on her academic goals in order to enhance her grades.

Young Hlatshwayo was admitted to study anatomy at Seattle University in the United States (US), but she declined after meeting with her mentor and learning that she would have spent an additional four years studying medicine.

IEB matriculants of 2022 outperform with a 98.42% pass rate despite COVID difficulties.

“I understood where she was coming from because you can receive the same education here in six years (instead of eight), which works for me because I will be here (in South Africa) near my family, allowing me to bring my support system with me. Therefore, it is a blessing in disguise.”

Aphiwe Hlatshwayo Hlatshwayo stated that the quality of her education at Reddford House The Hills prepared her for her UCT courses.

In December 2022, the UIF handed out R1 billion to employees.

In further matriculation results, Kauthar and Firdous Adam earned 15 distinctions between them.

The nuns of Crawford International College in Pretoria have earned a remarkable fifteen honours on their Independent Examination Board matriculation examinations.

Firdous and Kauther Adam demonstrate that perseverance pays off.

Kauthar earned eight distinctions on the 2022 matriculation examinations, while her sister Firdous earned seven.
