Man has been arrested for the murder of another man in a tavern

On Monday, December 26 at Bushbuckridge, a 45-year-old suspect was detained on charges of murder, armed robbery, possession of an unregistered handgun with ammunition, and pointing a firearm.

CHARGED WITH KILLING A MAN IN A TAVERN

A guy was arrested at approximately 3:30 a.m. on suspicion of fatally shooting Aby Nginindza, 40, at a bar with a car wash in Mkhulu.

According to the report, Calcutta police were notified of a shooting on the property.

They located the victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head when they arrived.

The victim remained alive at this point.

An ambulance was also dispatched to the scene, but one of the victim’s family members chose to save his life by transporting him to a neighboring hospital.

Unfortunately, upon arrival, the injured individual was pronounced dead.

A murder inquiry was initiated, and the suspect was located and arrested in Mkhuhlu on the same day of the murder.

FOUND IN POSSESSION OF FIREARM, AMMO, AND SUSPECTED THEFT OF CASH

During his arrest, a pistol and ammo were discovered in his hands.

Additionally, he was in possession of cash that was believed to be stolen.

The weapon is believed to have been used in the deadly shooting.

In addition, investigators discovered that the suspect is accused of committing an armed robbery in which a guy was robbed of $400.

According to reports, this occurred shortly after the incident.

Additionally, the detectives concluded that the suspect pointed a gun at another man.

Additionally, police personnel are among the individuals arrested for a double homicide.

The confiscated firearm will be subjected to ballistic testing to identify any potential linkages to other crimes.

As the investigation proceeds, the suspect may face more charges.

Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, provincial commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, has severely condemned the tragic shooting of the victim and praised the members for their efforts in apprehending the suspects and seizing the firearm and ammunition.

Manamela was especially concerned about similar events occurring in liquor establishments.
