Over the weekend, a man was dragged off a subway train and struck many times in the face by a stranger in Manhattan, according to police.

About 7:45 a.m., the 26-year-old victim was on a southbound No. 4 train. Cops say a stranger approached him on Saturday and grabbed him by the jacket collar.

“What are you looking at?” the suspect inquired, according to a police spokesman.

The stranger “dragged the victim to the platform floor and punched him several times in the face” as the train approached the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall subway station, according to cops.

The assailant fled on foot. According to officials, the man was taken to a local hospital and treated for bruising and swelling to his right eye and cheek.

The culprit was captured on security footage, according to police.

The suspect fled after dragging the victim off the train and punching them multiple times.
