Man dies in Ferrari crash

A man in his 30s has tragically died in a Ferrari crash on Sunday morning near Doncaster.

The £250,000 supercar is believed to have veered off the A630 in Armthorpe and collided with a tree, before flipping onto its roof.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been formally identified.

South Yorkshire Police were called to the scene by a public member and have appealed for witnesses to come forward as they begin their investigation.

The damage to the expensive supercar can be seen in pictures, with the front wheels mangled, doors collapsed, and the roof caved in.

The boot has been ripped off, exposing the twin-turbo V8 engines. The £250,000 Ferrari was removed from the scene on the day of the incident.

In a statement, a police spokesman said, “Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who was driving in the area at the time and have dash cam footage which captured the vehicle before the collision to come forward to see if you can assist with the enquiries.”

The force has requested that people with information contact them online or by calling 101.
