Magda Szubanski declined the opportunity to run for political office after tease her followers with a mysterious tweet.

The 61-year-old comic teased a run for office on Twitter after posting a picture of herself beaming on the red carpet at the Logies in a teal dress.

‘Omg!! Does this indicate that I’m now a teal independent? Maybe. No. Just kidding. She wrote, “Am I tho?

Leading independent Dr. Monique Ryan was moved by the post to invite the comedian to their party.

“Come on in!” Dr. Ryan answered.

Despite her prior suggestion, Ms. Szubanksi declined the invitation.

‘Thanks! She responded, “I really like what you’re doing.” But I’m not into politics. I’d rather give birth to a chair, as we say on Kath and Kim.

In this year’s federal elections, teal independent candidates shocked voters because they are primarily female, conservative politicians who support aggressive environmental policies. Ms. Szubanski has dabbled in politics in the past.

After losing the election to Labor in May, she viciously attacked outgoing Prime Minister Scott Morrison in a series of tweets.

She wrote on Twitter, “Last night Australia demonstrated that (despite the efforts of some) we are not a nation of Trump imitators. We value decent government, the rule of law, and idealistic/compassionate pragmatism.”

Since marriage equality, “I haven’t felt this relieved/happy.”

She wrote online, “How ironic that the man who blamed everyone except himself now has no one to blame BUT himself.”
Prior to this, the comedian was an ardent supporter of homosexual marriage in Australia and sobbed on television as she appealed for help.

Ms. Szubanski, who memorably announced on national television in 2012 that she was “gay-gay-gay-gay-gay” but “a little bit not gay-gay-gay,” broke down in tears on Today as she said she didn’t want the vote on gay marriage to damage children’s lives.

Ms. Szubanksi stated, “I hardly made it through my childhood and I don’t want it to happen to any of these kids.” “They [the government] won’t safeguard our children; they’ll send them to war; they’ll kill them without asking us to.”

“Please understand that all I wanted to do was bring joy and what I gave back was Sharon Strzelecki, and when I think about my upbringing and the vilification and hatred that I experienced, I’m truly sorry.”

When Australians decided to support homosexual marriage, she was also seen dancing, singing, and wiping tears from her eyes.

The Kath & Kim actor previously co-starred with Kim Kardashian, who has her own concerns about a candidacy for public office, in an UberEats commercial.

She finally addressed the rumors that a Kath & Kim revival is in the works at the Logies.

She said she couldn’t respond when asked by TV Week if Jane Turner and Gina Riley planned to bring back the adored sitcom.

On the Logie Awards red carpet, she informed the publication, “I’d have to kill you and your publishers and everyone else.” It would be a blood bath, I said.

On the program, which ran from 2002 to 2007, the comedian was well-known for portraying Sharon Strzelecki, a favorite of the audience.

From 2002 until 2005, Kath & Kim aired on ABC, then in 2007, it debuted on Channel Seven.

The series also gave rise to the 2005 television film Da Kath & Kim Code and the 2012 theatrical release Kath & Kimderella.
