M25 highway is blocked due to a multiple-vehicle collision

This morning, the M25 highway is blocked due to a multiple-vehicle collision.

Following reports of a collision at 06:20 UTC, the anti-clockwise lane has been shut down between intersection 23 at South Mimms and junction 22 at St Albans.

Between the intersections, delays of up to 50 minutes have been recorded.

Huge lines were visible during rush hour this morning at 8.30am, and according to the National Roads, they extended more than five miles.

According to National Roads, rehabilitation and cleanup are continuing.

Drivers have been urged to “Please avoid the vicinity” by Hertfordshire police.
