In 2001, 28-year-old Mr. Falconio was murdered by drug dealer Bradley Murdoch, who attempted to abduct his girlfriend Joanne Lees before she escaped and alerted authorities.

However, the backpacker’s bones have never been discovered, and his mother begged on Friday for ‘anyone with a conscience’ to assist in locating his remains.

Now, a potential new witness has come forward to state that he saw the murderer’s truck parked ‘in a strange area’ near a culvert and a bridge twenty-four hours after the murder.

A new lead has increased hopes for a breakthrough in the search for the body of British traveller Peter Falconio (seen above with girlfriend Joanne Lees) just hours after his mother pleaded for assistance.

Peter Falconio was murdered 300 kilometers north of Alice Springs on an isolated section of the Sturt Highway, and his girlfriend Joanne Lees hid in the bush until the murderer Bradley Murdoch departed the area.

The fresh sighting has sparked optimism that it will lead to the finding of the backpacker’s remains and put an end to the 21-year-old mystery.

Frank Pangallo, a senator from South Australia, sought a $1 million prize for information leading police to the body, which resulted in the revelation of the disturbing new evidence.

The SA-BEST member of South Australia’s legislative council disclosed, “This morning I received an email from somebody who was in the area the day after the murder.”

‘He stated that he had seen a vehicle resembling the one Murdoch was driving parked on the side of the road near a culvert and a bridge.

He recalled passing by it and remarking that the driver’s parking posture seemed peculiar. He did notify authorities at the time, but he heard nothing further.

“I’ll definitely relay that information to the police to see if they’ll investigate in person.”

The startling development occurred within hours after the Daily Mail Australia reported that police had conducted a five-day search of an outback well in 2019 in an effort to locate the remains.

They drew 15 meters of water from the lonely waterhole barely 1 kilometer from the murder scene near Barrow Creek, 300 kilometers north of Alice Springs, but unfortunately discovered nothing.

Now, the parents of Mr. Falconio, Joan, 75, and Luciano, 80, have requested new information to continue the search for their son’s remains.

His mother stated, “We want to return Peter home where he belongs, near his family.” Our suffering is always present. He was only 28 years old when he was slain 21 years ago.

His life ended on the Stuart Highway on July 14, 2001, a lonely road. Shot dead by the cowardly Murdoch, who refuses to disclose where or what he did to him.

She continued, “Peter has a beautiful niece and two adorable nephews that he never met or got to know.

“I am asking anyone with a conscience to assist me, no matter how minor, by telling me where he was placed.”

After South Australian politician Frank Pangallo (shown right) sought a $1 million reward for information leading police to the body, shocking new evidence was disclosed.

Mr. Pangallo disclosed that he has been in communication with the family for the past three years, ever since he covered the intriguing subject as a reporter for Today Tonight many years ago.

Now, he has requested that Northern Territory Police give a $1 million prize for new leads to investigate.

And he believes it may be enough to convince Murdoch’s shadowy criminal associates to break their oath of silence and reveal where the body was placed.

Mr. Pangallo stated on Friday, ‘It’s the last throw of the dice’ His mother did not want the situation to remain dormant and desired that it be brought back into the public front.

Not knowing where his body is has tormented them for the past 21 years, and it will continue to do so until they receive answers.

It is essential that new information surface in order to put an end to the years of anguish endured by the Falconio family.

Peter Falconio (shown with Joanne Lees in their campervan) would have turned 50 years old on Tuesday of this week.

Mr. Falconio would have turned 50 years old on Tuesday of this week, but authorities are no closer to determining where his body was discarded.

Murdoch was found guilty of the murder and is currently serving a life sentence at Darwin Correctional Centre, but he has refused to reveal where he placed Mr. Falconio’s body.

In accordance with the Northern Territory’s “no body, no release” legislation, he will never be released without disclosing the location of his body.

The police suspect that he buried the bones somewhere in the vast desert between Alice Springs and Broome, which is 1,700 kilometers away in Western Australia.

Bradley Murdoch is believed to have concealed the bones somewhere in the enormous Tanami Desert between Alice Springs and Broome in Western Australia, 1,700 kilometers away.

Mr. Pangallo remarked, “The Tanami desert is huge.”

‘It is likely that Murdoch, after refueling that night in Alice Springs, would have fled to Broome via the Tanami Desert.

There are a multitude of places where he may have dumped the body. However, he would have panicked at that time, knowing that police were looking for him. And who knows, he may have already disposed of the body, which is why we want to search the well near Barrow Creek.

Peter and his girlfriend Joanne Lees were in a campervan when drug dealer Bradley Murdoch pulled them over, shot Mr. Falconio, and attempted to abduct Ms. Lees.

He continued, “Murdoch may spend the remainder of his life in prison.”

“He is aware of what occurred. And he knows where he placed the body, and one hoped he had a conscience and would come forward.

“This is what Mrs. Falconio wrote in her email to me; she had thought that Murdoch would expose what he had done with Peter’s body out of conscience.

Murdoch lacks the courage to confess his cowardly crime, and he should rot in prison if he refuses to reveal what he did or where he left Peter.

‘Someone must know where Peter is or have information or a recall that could be relevant to authorities, regardless of how trivial they may believe it to be.

Joan, Luciano, Mark, Nicholas, and Paul, Peter’s siblings, and their families deserve closure after all these years of grief and uncertainty.

She merely hopes that no one will forget Peter Falconio.
