Madison Rolley, a 24-year-old digital nomad coach from Tennessee, has shared how she used AI to create an itinerary for her backpacking trip across Europe.

Madison used ChatGPT to create her travel plan, which kept the entire trip under £800 per person.

She asked ChatGPT to create a two-week trip for under $1,000 each travelling between four different cities.

The plan included transportation and accommodation as well as three activities in each location and food all within budget.

ChatGPT created a plan suggesting Stockholm, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, and Copenhagen, but Madison was able to adjust it slightly.

The AI recommended visiting the Anne Frank museum, the Van Gogh museum, and taking a canal cruise in Amsterdam.

It also suggested the Louvre and Eiffel Tower for Madison’s time in Paris. The travel pro and a friend will leave for the trip on July 3.

As a trip for two people, ChatGPT allocated $1,300 (£1,044) for 13 nights’ accommodation, $300 (£241) for 12 attractions, and $500 (£401) for travel, coming in at $2,100 (£1687) for the trip between two.

However, this did not include a flight home.

Madison said planning the holiday would have taken her days – but the software did it in minutes.

She loved that she could easily tweak the itinerary and that it gave her inspiration.

Being able to input a budget meant she wasn’t shown things out of her price range.

She said, “It’s giving a general guide – it’s giving you that inspiration.

You can get a little bit of an understanding of what the price is going to look like from country to country or that flight is going to look like.

Then you can go from there and actually book things and do your research and build out your budget.”

As AI technology becomes more advanced and prevalent, people are finding new and creative ways to use it.

Madison Rolley is one such person who has used ChatGPT, a large language model, to create an itinerary for her backpacking trip across Europe.

ChatGPT is trained to generate human-like responses to prompts, and Madison gave the AI her requirements for a two-week trip, and it pulled up recommendations for transportation, accommodation, food, and activities.

The AI generated a general guide, giving Madison an understanding of what the price would look like from country to country and the activities available.

Using AI to plan a trip can save travelers a lot of time and effort, especially if they have a limited budget.

ChatGPT can generate a personalized itinerary that is tailored to the traveler’s preferences and budget.

However, it is essential to note that the AI is limited, and travelers should do their research to ensure that the itinerary suits their needs.

In conclusion, AI technology can be a useful tool for planning a trip, but it should be used in conjunction with human intelligence to create a memorable and enjoyable experience.
