“Lavish” is a new drama that has been added to Mzansi Magic’s prime time lineup in order to spice things up.
A-list actors Jessica Nkosi, Mary-Anne Barlow, S’dumo Mtshali, and Nolo Seabi lead the cast of the fictional plot, which delves into the drama and dirt beneath the gems.
This intriguing new comedy depicts the lives of three affluent women in their thirties as they navigate death, divorce, and tragedy, all while looking devilishly lovely. It is executive produced by the renowned actress Lulu Hela, who also serves as an executive producer on “Gomora.”
In the affluent neighbourhood of Kyalami, Johannesburg North, three ladies with vastly different personalities are bound by a strong friendship.
Nkosi, well-known for her appearances in “The Queen” and “Isibaya,” portrays Zozi, an Insta mother, wealthy wife, and stunning fashionista who juggles fame and family.

Ayanda Bandla portrays the character Kat. She is an ambitious workaholic who juggles a successful profession, parenthood, and dating. She hails from a powerful political family and aspires to reach the highest pinnacle of the political hierarchy.
Nomzamo, portrayed by Kanyi Nokwe, is a touch rough around the edges, but this makes her more entertaining. She is a ferociously beautiful vixen with fresh cash to burn. Her partner desires a devoted wife, but she desires to develop an empire.
Shirley Adonisi, director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net, stated that the channel is eager to see how the audience responds to the new show.
“Mzansi Magic has long created cutting-edge dramas and dramatic comedies aimed for an adult audience, and ‘Lavish’ is the most recent program of this type.
Our Friday nights have a reputation for edgy content that reflects the lifestyles of distinct demographics while exploring universal topics. Adonisi stated, “We can’t wait to see how our discerning audience will respond to the performance.”
The series will premiere on November 4 and will have love, laughter, tears, and glitz, regardless of the weather.
