Larsa Pippen, star of “Real Housewives of Miami,” has stayed out of the public dispute between her ex-husband Scottie Pippen and his former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan. During an appearance on the “Tamron Hall Show,” Larsa was asked about Scottie’s feelings towards his portrayal in Jordan’s 2020 ESPN documentary “The Last Dance.” Larsa declined to comment on Scottie’s feelings, but did say that she personally did not care about how others felt, and that she was happy with her best friend Marcus, who is Michael Jordan’s son.
Larsa and Scottie were married in 1997 and divorced in December 2021, after a short separation in 2016. They share four children together. Larsa and Marcus were rumored to be dating in September 2021, but Larsa denied it, saying they were just friends. However, in January 2022, she made their relationship official on Instagram. The couple celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together last month.
Larsa explained on the show that dating an athlete can be difficult, as they are often scrutinized. She also said that she should be able to date whomever she wants without being judged. Larsa and Marcus met four years ago at a party in Los Angeles and run in the same circles. They were introduced by a mutual friend. When asked if she felt as though she had Jordan and his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy’s blessing to date their son, Larsa said, “Yeah, I feel like we’re great. Yeah. I feel like we’ve spent holidays together, and it’s good. We’re in a great place.”
