Finally, the Lakers are making roster adjustments.

Multiple reports indicate that the Clippers will send guard Kendrick Nunn and three second-round choices to the Wizards in exchange for forward Rui Hachimura.

Wes Unseld, the head coach of the Wizards, stated that 24-year-old Hachimura missed Monday’s practice for personal reasons. Reportedly, both parties were unable to agree on a rookie contract extension.

This season, Hachimura has averaged 13 points on 48.8% shooting, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 24.3 minutes per game.

Saturday night, after scoring 30 points in a victory over the Magic, Hachimura stated, “I just have to stay in the moment.” “I am aware of everything occurring right now. I just have to play the games and be myself… Just now, I get to play my game. I understand my capabilities and can contribute to the team’s victory. It’s either this team or another. I can assist groups.”

The Wizards selected the Gonzaga graduate ninth overall in the 2019 NBA Draft.

According to various sources, the Lakers are finalizing a trade that would send guard Kendrick Nunn and three second-round picks to the Wizards in exchange for forward Rui Hachimura.

It is unknown if Hachimura will be ready on Tuesday when the Lakers visit the Clippers.

The Wizards will reportedly acquire the Bulls’ second-round selection in 2023, the Lakers’ second-round selection in 2029, and another second-round selection in 2028.
