“Stop yelling!”: desperation Sky News host calms JSO activist

Last night, a Just Stop Oil interview on Sky News turned into a cacophony of noise, prompting host Mark Austin to beseech, “Please stop shouting at me.”Interview with Indigo Rumbelow, 28, descended into noise as she defended Just Stop Oil's protest actions on live TV

The 64-year-old journalist, whose visage is one of the most recognizable in the news industry, was conversing live on television in the studio with protester Indigo Rumbelow.

Rumbelow, who is 28 years old and from Gower, Wales, was invited to appear on Sky News to defend Just Stop Oil’s conduct in disrupting the public.

When asked by Austin why they were taking such measures, the activist provided her explanation.

She stated, “I’m confident you’ll agree that the climate catastrophe is an extremely dire scenario.”

‘The climate problem is currently affecting people all over the planet.

Even the United Kingdom saw the effects of the climate crisis this summer, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees, birds falling from the sky, and elderly dying prematurely.Things got so loud, host Mark Austin was moved to ask her at one point 'please stop shouting at me Indigo' during the chat

Austin then pointed out that such information was already being covered by news organizations and publications, causing the interview to be elevated.

Interview with Indigo Rumbelow, 28, degenerated into chaos when she supported the protest actions of Just Stop Oil on live television.

During the chat, things grew so raucous that host Mark Austin was compelled to beg Indigo to stop shouting at him.

Indigo, seen lower left, is a veteran activist who has participated in numerous pranks and actions with Insulate Britain.

He was told by Rumbelow that the media had failed to effect political change.

She yelled, ‘I’m 28, this is the twenty-seventh COP summit, and every year the emissions have steadily increased.

If you did your job correctly, everyone would be on the street.Just Stop Oil supporter Tom Gardener climbed onto a motorway gantry on the M25 for the fourth day in a row on Thursday as part of their campaign to demand that the government halts all new oil and gas licences and consents

Austin, frustrated, attempted to steer the conversation back to its original topic, but Rumbelow then asked him whether he was a dad.

She said, “Do you love your children more than fossil fuels?”

“We are requesting that you take the side of young people who are politely requesting that our government phase out fossil fuels in accordance with the United Nations.”

Austin said with exasperation, “Stop shouting at me, Indigo.”Indigo, seen lower left, is a long-time protester and has carried out various different stunts and action with Insulate Britain

Just Stop Oil said this morning that it will cease its protests on the M25 as of today to allow the government to “examine their obligations” about climate change.

The group stated on social media that inactivity about climate change is “murder, pure and simple” and that they “have the right to cause disruption in order to prevent bigger harm.”

It follows four days of turmoil on one of the busiest highways in the United Kingdom, caused by protestors climbing onto overpass gantries and causing police to stop huge parts of the road while they were removed.

Just Stop Oil issued the following statement via Twitter: “As of today, Just Stop Oil will cease its civil opposition campaign on the M25.”

We are providing those in government who are grounded in reality time to ponder their responsibility to the nation at this time.

The end of the protests is another another embarrassment for the police, who failed to prevent the eco-mob from rising above the highway and were even involved in a collision between two lorries and a police motorcycle earlier this week as one officer attempted to cross the road.

Police have also been compelled to apologize following the detention of numerous prominent journalists, including Charlotte Lynch of LBC, despite her presenting her press card to officials.Tony Bambury was travelling with his family to the funeral just off the A13 near Pitsea from his home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire on Monday when he discovered that the eco-mob had blocked parts of the M25 in protest

Just Stop Oil asserts that they and their supporters are now responsible for maintaining order in the United Kingdom.

This Monday, the group urged Rishi Sunak to ‘think’ and ‘respect’ his address at Cop 27 in Egypt, citing his’moral and economic imperative’

Just Stop Oil wants to prevent new gas and oil extraction licenses due to the terrible effects fossil fuels have on the planet. Since Monday, they have regularly targeted risky locations on the circular road, with photographs of them unfurling placards atop gantries while traffic speeds below.

Despite Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s call for a crackdown, they were able to evade police for a fourth consecutive day on Thursday, resulting in closures across the network and arrests in Surrey, London, Essex, and Kent.

Thursday’s protesters included Phoebe Plummer, 21, who is already on bail for hurling a can of soup at a Vincent van Gogh painting in central London last month.

But not everything went according to plan, as one pink-haired eco-warrior was stopped before reaching the M25.

Three officers grabbed onto her arms and legs as they brought her to a vehicle in Chevening, Kent, as a videographer from the eco-mob recorded every second of her ‘loud statement to camera.’

Just Stop Oil’s statement continued, ‘We invite the Prime Minister to consider his remarks at COP27, where he discussed the catastrophic threat posed by global warming, the 33 million people affected by floods in Pakistan, and the moral and economic responsibility to honor our commitments.

You are not permitted to recycle words and promises; you owe the British people action.

Today is Remembrance Day, and we ask you to honor those who have served and loved their country.

“Take the crucial first step to assure a habitable future by halting the production of new oil and gas.”

“The UK Government’s reluctance to do so constitutes a criminal breach of its core obligation — to protect and secure the lives of its inhabitants — and a betrayal of billions of people living in the Global South.”

It is plain and straightforward murder.

“Those who support Just Stop Oil now preserve law and order and safeguard civic society.”

People in this nation have the right under British law to cause disturbance in order to avoid larger harm – we will not remain silent.
