Dusty and Leslie Giles, the parents of 24-year-old Christy Giles, claimed they buried her in the bridal gown she never wore.

They said Christy intended to wear the garment at a wedding ceremony for family and friends following her 2019 elopement with Jan Cilliers.

In November 2021, Christy was discovered dead from a heroin overdose outside a California hospital.
She was laid to rest in Alabama, where her parents resided and where the wedding had been planned.

The parents of a model who died after reportedly overdosing on a narcotic cocktail supplied to her and her architect friend by a Hollywood producer have disclosed that she was buried with the wedding dress she never got to wear.

Dusty and Leslie Giles said in an emotional interview with The New York Post that they made the choice a month after their 24-year-old daughter Christy Giles was discovered dead outside a California hospital in November 2021.

Christy intended to wear the garment at a wedding ceremony for family and friends following her elopement with Jan Cilliers at the 2019 Burning Man event.

“I asked Jan if I could keep it so we could bury her in it,” her mother Dusty said through tears, as reported by The Post. “It won’t be on her, but I didn’t want anyone else to wear it.” Unfortunately, she never got to have her wedding.’

She was laid to rest in Alabama, the same state where the wedding had been scheduled.

In November 2021, Christy Giles, age 24, was discovered dead from a drug overdose outside of a California hospital.

Dusty and Leslie Giles, Christy’s parents, stated that they buried her in her unworn bridal gown.

Christy’s parents also described how, by the time she was buried, her body had begun to decompose and her once-perfect face had begun to collapse on one side.

Dusty stated that she requested that the mortician tilt her daughter’s face so that they could host an open casket wake.

Leslie preferred not to visit his daughter since the sight was so upsetting.

I was unable to look at her… He answered, “I didn’t see her at all.” According to The Post, he had to leave the interview as he became overcome with sorrow while recalling the event.

Dusty stated of her husband, “He decided not to visit her because it was too much,” adding, “She was a daddy’s girl.” This remains an excessive amount. How do we manage? We are shattered and attempting to shoulder an intolerable burden.’

Giles was discovered on the hospital’s walkway in Culver City on November 13, 2021. A short time later, she passed away due to an overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, and other substances.

Her companion Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26, was left at Kaiser West Los Angeles a few hours later. She remained in a coma until her death on November 24 due to organ failure and drug intoxication, likely from cocaine, MDMA, and other substances.

Their deaths were determined to be drug-related murders.

Surveillance footage saw three masked men driving a Toyota Prius without license plates dumping their bodies, and one month later, Hollywood producer David Pearce, 39, was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

His 42-year-old roommate, the actor Brandt Osborn, was also arrested. Both men are now charged with murder.

Pearce also faces other charges of rape and sexual assault from seven women, some of whom believe they were drugged while in his company.

In addition to the homicide charges linked to Christy’s death, he is also charged with selling or proposing to sell the women a controlled substance prior to their drug-induced murders.

If found guilty of all charges, Pearce faces up to 120 years in jail.

The overdosed bodies of Giles (left) and Cabrales-Arzola (right) were discovered outside two separate hospitals in Los Angeles on November 13.

Pearce was seen celebrating with Cabralez-Arzola hours before her passing. The young architect was also captured enjoying himself with Giles in eerie photographs portraying the final hours before their untimely deaths.

Cabrales contacted Giles at 4 a.m., according to a search warrant affidavit by Det. Jonathan Vander Lee, asking if she wanted cocaine. The Times claimed that he and the women met at the warehouse party in Los Angeles that night.

“I’m in the kitchen,” answered Cabrales to Giles. “Let’s do a line.”

The warehouse’s surveillance cameras showed Cabrales and Giles leaving the party with Pearce, Ansbach, and Osborn in Osborn’s Hyundai. Around 5 a.m., they were at Pearce’s residence. Twenty minutes later, Giles texted her companion with a wide-eyed emoji, “Let’s go.”

‘Yes,’ Cabrales said. ‘I’ll call an Uber. 10 min away.’

Pearce faces a spate of criminal sexual assault accusations for a series of unrelated crimes, and the LA District Attorney has warned that he may have further victims (pictured in 2018)

Pearce, 40, and Brandt Osborn, 42 (pictured), are charged with homicide in connection with the deaths of Christy Giles, 24, and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26 on November 13.

According to CCTV evidence, a car thought to be Uber arrived at the residence and waited for five minutes before leaving.

Vander Lee said, “A conspicuous reality is that both Giles and Cabrales wanted to leave Pearce’s residence, as evidenced by their texts and Uber requests.” They are dead the next time they are seen.

Vander Lee claimed that cameras later caught Pearce transporting Giles’ body to his Prius and traveling to a hospital, where she was abandoned on the pavement. Cabrales underwent identical treatment.

Vander Lee remembered in his statement speaking with a ‘visibly nervous’ Osborn, who denied seeing Giles or Cabrales consume drugs.

Osborn stated, “I didn’t offer them anything, I don’t live like that.” He stated, ‘They were making noises, but I figured that if I gave them a couple of hours, they might recover,’ but it appeared that they were deteriorating.

Osborn stated that he had terror because he had never been in this circumstance before.

He continued, “We didn’t bring them to the same hospital because we didn’t know how that would seem because we didn’t know who they were.”
