Clare Crawley of “The Bachelorette” confesses that her wedding dress was stolen

Presumably, this was the “something she stole”

Clare Crawley, age 41, recently traveled to Hawaii with her fiancé, Ryan Dawkins, but upon returning home, she discovered that her wedding dress had been stolen from her car.

“I have absolute faith that everything happens for a reason. And while we may not know what that reason is right now, it all works out. Allow me to explain,” Crawley said on her Instagram Story on Saturday.

“When Ryan and I returned from Hawaii at the start of this week, my vehicle had been broken into during our absence. And what was inside the car? Keep in mind my wedding is very soon. My wedding dress was in my car,” continued the “Bachelor: Winter Games” alum.

“It was in there because I was supposed to take it to get its final modification, and I didn’t want to forget.”

While Crawley was furious “in the moment,” she stated, “The moment is what we’re celebrating. I don’t care what I wear, I’ll be glad to be there.”

Fortunately, when Crawley returned to retrieve her veil, the proprietor of the bridal shop assisted her in locating a replacement gown.

When the couple returned from Hawaii, Crawley discovered that her wedding dress was missing.

“Within three days, I had a brand-new dress adjusted, pressed, and entirely re-altered in the best way, so that it was even more fitted. It turns out that garment was featured on my Pinterest board three years ago. It is my ideal dress.”

The former reality star referred to her new gown as “the most beautiful dress” and stated that she is “still crying happy tears” because “everything works out exactly as it’s supposed to — and sometimes even better.”

On Instagram, Crawley also displayed her “something borrowed” and “something blue”: a handkerchief embroidered with “Happy Tears” and two blue hearts.

Similar “Bachelor” alumni Vanessa Grimaldi said, “I adore this and adore it for you.”

Courtney Robertson, a former participant, wrote, “And the best something new,” referring to her new outfit.

The cosmetologist was engaged to “Bachelorette” participant Dale Moss in 2020, but the couple broke up “for good” the following year.

After nearly a year of dating, Crawley proposed to Dawkins at the RiSE music festival in Las Vegas in October 2022.
