After escaping yet another speeding penalty in the UK, Katie Price has been spotted lounging in the sun in Thailand.
On September 13, 2021, near her Mucky Mansion in Horsham, West Sussex, the 44-year-old former glamour model was charged with one count of breaching a 60 mph speed restriction.
She was also charged with failing to inform police who was driving her $62,000 BMW on January 26. However, police rejected this charge as well since “no evidence was given.”
‘I have been informed that the matter against her has been dismissed by Sussex Police, so she will not be appearing,’ a court representative stated.
Her claimed speeding offense occurred only 15 days before she rolled her BMW in the early hours of September 28 of last year, escaping with only minor injuries.
Price, who has had six driving infractions, avoided jail time by pledging to the court that she would seek treatment at the £7,000 weekly Priory Clinic.
Price was also given 100 hours of unpaid labour and 20 sessions of rehabilitative activity requirements to complete over the course of the following 12 months. Price has been represented by attorney Nicholas Hamblin of Westgate Chambers.
She was also given a two-year driving ban and told to pay £85 in costs. You have one of the worst driving histories I have ever seen, the judge informed her at the time.
The mother of five would have also been suspended during the alleged speeding offense because she was still suspended when she crashed her BMW in September 2021.
The Loose Women star, who is currently traveling with her boyfriend, 34-year-old Carl Woods, in Thailand, skipped her most recent court appearance.
Price does not face any additional charges for speeding despite having nearly 20 prior driving offenses.
The 44-year-old Loose Women star nearly went to jail last month after violating a restraining order.
She acknowledged calling her ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s new fiancée, Michelle Penticost, a “gutter s***” in a message she sent to him.
She was informed that instead of going to jail for the offense, she would have to undertake 170 hours of unpaid labor.
In June 2019, Price, who was overheard telling a reporter to “suck my d**k” after she inquired about the possibility of a prison sentence outside of court, was prohibited from making direct or indirect contact with Miss Penticost for a period of five years.
Recently, it was discovered that Price had scheduled her vacation to Thailand before being informed of the consequences for breaking the restraining order.
She and Mr. Hayler have been documenting their travels on her Only Fans, possibly in violation of Thailand’s severe anti-pornography laws.
The government outlawed Pornhub and a number of other pornographic websites in 2020.
According to The Sun, posting ‘obscene’ content online is punishable by up to five years in prison, a fine of 100,000 baht (£2,300), or both.
Price was insolvent in 2019 and owed £2.3 million.
Despite owing millions, she appears to have lived comfortably and frequently traveled to exotic locations.
