In a visit to Sandhurst, King Charles inspected the 200th Sovereign’s Parade where he reviewed the 171 officer cadets who underwent 44 weeks of training at the prestigious military academy.
This includes 26 international cadets from 15 different countries. Later on, he presented the awards to the winners, which included the Sword of Honour.
This visit occurred as preparations for his upcoming Coronation are ongoing.
Reports indicate that the King is hopeful that the Coronation will be an opportunity to repair the family’s divisions, including with Prince Andrew.
Prince Harry, who is visiting the UK, will be staying at Frogmore Cottage, while King Charles is set to be crowned at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
