Kaizer Chiefs key player SUSPENDED by the PSL!

The PSL have dished out a one-match suspension to Phathutshedzo Nange, according to Goal.

This is as a result of Amakhosi’s midfielder picking up his fifth yellow card of the season. This means that Chiefs will be without Nange when they take n Sekhukhune United in the DStv Premiership.

Phathutshedzo Nange
Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange has confirmed he is fit and ready for action ahead of Amakhosi’s opening DStv Premiership match of the 2021/22 season on Sunday.

Nange has been one of Amakhosi’s most consistent players in recent months.

Under Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard, he has been a regular starter for Chiefs. He will be missed but he could be replaced by Bernard Parker in the midfield or Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

Chiefs are looking to keep their slim hopes of qualifying for next season’s CAF Champions League alive.

Nothing less than a victory over Sekhukhune will be good enough. They will come up against an Amakhosi legend too… Willard Katsande! The Chiefs legend will have added motivation to topple his old side.

Katsande spent over a decade at Naturena before moving to Sekhukhune at the start of the season.

Who should replace Nange in Amakhosi’s midfield?
