The Kaizer Chiefs coach claims the PSL championship fight is not finished

Arthur Zwane, the coach of the Kaizer Chiefs, feels the PSL championship fight is far from over.

Mamelodi Sundowns maintains a commanding lead in the standings, but the trailing pack still has reason for optimism.

Additionally, Sundowns head coach Rhulani Mokwena has stated that the championship cannot be won in January.

According to iDiski Times, Zwane stated, “There are still 16 games to play, but I agree with Mamelodi Sundowns’ coach Rhulani that the league has never been won in January.”

Zwane asserts that the Chiefs are intent on rebuilding despite their significant deficit to the competition.

As league play resumes, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane hopes Amakhosi can swiftly recapture their spirit and drive.

Zwane continued, “When you are building a team, you have a lot of young players and a lot of new players who need to adapt to the pressure.”

“In our case, we must simultaneously grind the outcomes and devise a strategy to develop our brand.

“So far, so good. I am satisfied. Sincerity being the better part of valor, I’m happy that the players have responded positively, despite the long road ahead.

“However, at the end of the day, you can see that everyone is enjoying themselves, that everyone feels a part of the team, and that you can see the results, even if they are not always forthcoming or if we are inconsistent.

But I’m just thrilled that we’ve seen so many wonderful developments.

The Kaizer Chiefs’ January calendar is packed with huge matches that might go a long way toward deciding the championship.

Zwane and his team will face Sundowns on January 21, but not before facing Sekhukhune United and Amazulu.

The month concludes with a match against the rival Royal AM.
