Justin Bieber postpones due to health issues

Justin Bieber’s health has deteriorated, and he has been forced to postpone his planned Justice World Tour in his own Canada and the United States.

‘MY SICKNESS IS GETTING WORSE’

The 28-year-old musician turned to social media on Tuesday to inform his fans in Toronto and Washington, DC that his forthcoming shows will be postponed due to doctor’s instructions.

Bieber was set to perform two performances in Toronto on June 7 and 8, as well as one in Washington, DC on June 10.

“Can’t believe I’m saying this. I’ve done everything to get better, but my sickness is getting worse. My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctor’s orders). To all my people I love you so much and I’m gonna rest and get better,” Bieber wrote on Instagram.

JUSTIN BIEBER HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH WHAT?

Bieber, according to Marca, is suffering from Lyme illness.

Although the Love Yourself singer did not elaborate on his condition when he canceled his shows, the publication believes Lyme disease is to blame.

“While many people keep saying that Bieber looks terrible, that he uses methamphetamine, etc., what they don’t realize is that I have recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease,” Bieber wrote on his social media in 2020.

The disease has previously threatened the lives of other celebrities such as Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain or Amy Schumer.

WHAT IS LYME DISEASE AND HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOU?

Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi.

“It is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected blacklegged ticks. Typical symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans.”
