Justin Bieber cancels tour due to ‘exhaustion’

Justin Bieber has put his world tour on hold due to “exhaustion.”

The 28-year-old pop star postponed a series of concerts earlier this year after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare neurological condition that left him with facial paralysis. Bieber has now announced via social media that he is stepping back from touring in order to focus on his health.

The musician, who played in Brazil over the weekend, wrote on his Instagram Story, “Earlier this year, I went public with my struggle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, in which my face was partially paralyzed.

“Due to my illness, I was unable to complete the Justice Tour’s North American leg.

“After recovering and discussing with my doctors, family, and crew, I attempted to continue the trip by traveling to Europe. Six live performances took a significant toll on me.

“Last weekend, I played at Rock in Rio and gave everything I had to the Brazilian people. After leaving the stage, tiredness overcame me, and I realized I need to prioritize my health at this time.

“Therefore, I will pause my touring for the time being. I will recover, but I need time to relax and recuperate. (sic)”

Bieber also expressed gratitude for his fans’ recent support.

He stated, “I am extremely honored to have brought this show and our message of justice to the world. We appreciate your prayers and support throughout this ordeal. I adore you all with all my heart!”

He talked up about his experience with Ramsay Hunt syndrome earlier this year.

Justin Bieber disclosed his personal experience with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

The pop artist demonstrated in a video message how the infection had paralyzed half of his face.

“As you can see, this eye is not blinking,” he remarked. I am unable to smile from this side of my face. This nasal passage will not move.”
