Justin Bieber halts tour due to health difficulties

Justin Bieber said on Tuesday that he will once again take a sabbatical from touring, months after disclosing he had been diagnosed with a disease that caused him to experience partial facial paralysis.

The North American leg of the superstar’s “Justice” tour was postponed in June due to Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a complication of shingles.

This weekend, Bieber will play at the Rock in Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in addition to six live performances across Europe.

However, he stated on Tuesday that his return to the stage was premature.

“Last weekend, I played at Rock in Rio and gave everything I had to the Brazilian people.” After leaving the stage, tiredness overcame me, and I understood I must make my health a priority right now.

Bieber stated.

“Therefore, I’m taking a temporary vacation from touring,” the “Peaches” singer concluded.

“I will be well, but I need time to relax and recover. I am extremely honored to deliver this performance and its message of justice to the world.”

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a rare neurological illness that can cause facial nerve inflammation and paralysis, as well as a painful rash around the ear or mouth. In addition to causing facial paralysis, it can also result in hearing loss.

Up until March 2023, Bieber was planned for dozens of shows around the world.

The celebrity did not provide a recovery estimate or suggest whether the “Justice” tour would resume.

Covid-19 had already forced two postponements prior to the singer’s health problems.
