For the first time since launching a drive against ‘extreme MAGA’ elements and Donald Trump’s grip on the Republican Party, President Joe Biden took his MAGA attacks on the road.
He launched a new attack, referring to Trump as the ‘Great MAGA king,’ while contrasting Trump’s budget reductions with his predecessor’s deficits.
‘Look at my predecessor, the great MAGA monarch,’ Biden added, sarcastically. ‘The deficit climbed every single year he was president.’
‘In the first year of my presidency, I literally cut the deficit by $350 billion.’
It was one of several jabs at ‘ultra-MAGA Republicans’ that Biden made after launching an attack on the White House in the days before.
He stated about Republicans, “I’ve gotten along with a lot of them – used to any way.”
He slammed Sen. Rick Scott’s idea to “sunset” legislation, saying it jeopardized Social Security.
‘The hardline MAGA Republican proposal – the only one out there – would eliminate Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid every five years.
He also praised organized labor by highlighting the devastating efficiency of US armaments used by the Ukrainians against Russian invaders.
With a smile, Biden claimed, ‘Our stuff isn’t coming apart.’ ‘It’s theirs. He answered, “No, I’m serious.”
His remark follows months of stories of Russian tanks becoming stuck in the mud, tread wearing out, and tanks becoming vulnerable to the latest US-made weapons.
