“I live in Obama’s head for free”: Kari Lake fears being on Hillary Clinton’s mind

Kari Lake was ecstatic to be on the minds of prominent Democratic leaders like Barack Obama, but she joked that she felt a ‘tinge of panic’ when Hillary Clinton took notice of her.

Four days before Election Day, the Republican candidate for governor of Arizona brought some unexpected visitors to the event, including pro-Trump Missouri Senator Josh Hawley and Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters.

Lake, 53, attacked her Democratic opponent Katie Hobbs, the current Secretary of State of Arizona, for refusing to debate her, alleging it was an attempt to avoid her ‘job interview’ for governor.

“Perhaps she’s afraid,” Lake told a throng of more than 200 supporters gathered at the Arrowhead Country Club in Glendale, Arizona on Friday evening — some 25 miles from Phoenix. ‘I don’t care if she shows me contempt. It is important to me that she disregards you and the people of Arizona.

The veteran television journalist compared political arguments to job interviews. And if you do not appear for a job interview, you will not be hired.

Hawley, a prominent member of the pro-Trump wing of the Republican Party, helped make the final case for Lake’s election as governor of Arizona.

However, Lake quipped that she would not make it there if the Clintons had their way.

Masters stated, before to Lake’s visit, that he will send Senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly “back to space in four days.”

Masters and Lake began polling far behind their Democratic opponents, but gained substantial momentum in the final month before Election Day.

Before a swarm of Republican leaders took the stage, Lake fans filed into the room to the sound of tunes that partially mimicked the rally playlist of former President Donald Trump.

Lake told the enthusiastic throng that she was astonished to have attracted the attention of prominent Democrats such as former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State and twice-failed presidential contender Hillary Clinton.

Why would you vote for a candidate you know is lying about something? Obama stated this week regarding the Republican candidates in Arizona.

“I mean, on something so crucial. I care not how elegantly they phrase it. I don’t care how poised or well-lit they are,’ he added in reference to Lake’s decades of television expertise and the quality of her campaign production.

“Yesterday was one of those days – sort of a “pinch me” day. Who came out and assaulted me? Barack Obama!’ Lake addressed the crowd.

Lake observed, “He was talking about me and it’s so weird — I’m living rent-free in Obama’s imagination.”

I did not listen to the speech until today… Wow, I’m actually living rent-free, I think. He was incessant. And he had nothing with which to attack us,’ she continued, saying that Obama’s greatest argument against her was that she has “excellent lighting.”

“That’s how desperate they are,” she remarked dismissively.

Lake informed her followers that attracting the attention of the Clintons is the last thing she desires.

She even hinted on Friday evening that if she mysteriously vanishes or turns up dead, the former first couple should be the prime suspects.

“When Hillary Clinton began talking about me, I felt a little bit of dread,” acknowledged Lake.

She then stated that she is in excellent health, had her car’s brakes serviced lately, and is not suicidal.

I laughed when Obama was attacking me. I was amused when Liz Cheney attacked me… But one thing did terrify me: Yesterday, I heard Hillary Clinton speaking about me.

“I simply want everyone to know that I’m in excellent health,” she remarked amid roars of laughter. The brakes on our recently serviced vehicle are in excellent shape. And I am not suicidal.’

Despite the appearance of fear, Lake asserts that the Republican Party must get under the skin of Democrats.

Hawley, whose participation at the event surprised the crowd, asserted that Democrats are ‘correct’ when they declare the United States is ‘broken’ and that Republicans will be the ones to fix it.

Until early October, a FiveThirtyEight polling average showed Lake trailing her Democratic opponent Katie Hobbs by several months. Around this time, Hobbs dug back on her unwillingness to debate Lake before the midterm elections on November 8th.
