Kari Lake will attend Monday’s Supreme Court hearing

If her lawsuit is dismissed at a hearing on Monday, election-denying Kari Lake has vowed to carry her struggle all the way to the Supreme Court.

Lake, the Republican candidate for governor in Arizona, has filed a lawsuit in an effort to have her loss overturned or to have the election redone as a result of irregularities at the polls.

At a meeting of conservatives in Phoenix, she urged supporters, “I’m not going to stand down.” “These folks are dishonest,”

Katie Hobbs, the incoming governor, contends that her assertions cannot be verified. She wants Lake’s lawsuit dismissed.

Additionally, attorneys representing Maricopa County, the most populated region of the state and the location of the alleged anomalies, filed a second petition last week calling for the dismissal of her allegations.

On Monday, their case will be heard.

Lake reaffirmed her commitment to fighting no matter what.

“I’m taking my election lawsuit, which is the best election complaint this nation has ever submitted,” he said. And if necessary, I’ll appeal it all the way to the Supreme Court.

“That’s correct. Our vote is not something you can steal and get away with. So you don’t meddle with the wrong lady, do you? So tomorrow is our court date.

Before the election, Lake said that fraud was the only way she could lose.

She claims in her complaint that “hundreds of thousands of illicit votes” were cast in the election and that election day printing issues hindered her supporters from casting a ballot.

However, her critics claim that she lacks enough evidence.

According to Arizona Central, “Plaintiff’s allegations fail to show even one illegal vote, any incorrect vote counting, or that the Defendant election officials engaged in any misconduct,” wrote attorneys with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. “Plaintiff’s allegations also fail to show that she is entitled to be awarded enough votes to change the outcome of the election,” they added.

As a result of her near call in Arizona, Lake has become a prominent figure on the right, which is supported by Donald Trump. Even rumors about her being a strong candidate for running mate have surfaced.

On the second day of the America Fest hosted by Turning Point USA in her hometown, she was greeted with thunderous ovation.

She gave a passionate support when the group of young conservatives debated the outcomes of last month’s midterm elections and whether Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis would be the better choice for president in 2024.

“The Republican Party was on life support when Trump descended that escalator seven years ago. It was a group of Republicans in name only, or R.I.N.O.s, she said, adding that he achieved something remarkable by bringing it back to life with the truth.

He gave it new life via sensible policies. We the people were brought back into the fold by him.

She also made it plain that she supported the previous president.

“Listen, would you want to send someone else back?” President Donald J. Trump, I believe you understand,” she said.

“He and I have gotten along well.” More than anybody I know, that guy is concerned about our nation. He has sacrificed more than anybody I know. And these media buffoons want to smear him in the dirt.

She then made an offensive gesture by raising a fist and clasping her bicep with the other hand.

Ron DeSantis IS a fantastic governor, and Donald Trump WAS a fantastic president: The Republican base seems to be ready for a new generation of leaders to run in 2024, according to several of its members.

Switching Point Trump-related events are celebrated at USA’s America Fest. Don Jr. was a key attraction at the gathering on Sunday in Phoenix, speakers urged attendees to “make America great again,” and Charlie Kirk, whose navy suit, white shirt, and red tie are an ode to the former president’s style, arranged the entire thing.

When you question participants whether they support Donald Trump or Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for the 2024 Republican nomination, though, things get more difficult.

Michelle Phillips, a bookkeeper from southern California, acknowledged that she had not yet made up her choice and added, “Either one of them meets the bill.”

In a remark that was followed by a “but,” Lori McHugh declared that she was still a “Trump lady.”

She said, sporting a star-spangled hat, “I adore DeSantis” as she walked by a booth selling sequined handbags with the former president’s name. Trump is very divisive. Some folks just despise him.

A gathering of grassroots conservatives where MAGA-cap wearing fans swarm around media booths to hear Rep. Matt Gaetz being interviewed or to have their photo taken with Don Jr. should be Trump territory.

Trump’s major campaign pledge from 2016 is symbolized by a guy wearing a suit with a brick pattern.

But if DeSantis chooses to run against Trump, interviews with a dozen participants indicate that Trump may not garner their support.

After giving a speech on Saturday night, Fox News personality Tucker Carlson hedged his bets when asked by a member of the crowd who he was supporting.

He said, “I’m not backing anyone.” I am unsure about the outcome of the Republican primary.

He complimented Trump’s 2016 campaign for turning politics on its head, but he also said that people were relocating to Florida. Some listeners took this to mean that the 76-year-old should pass the reins to the 44-year-old.

The contest is still purely imaginary. However, Trump’s position as the front-runner has been damaged by the unfavorable midterm results, when he accepted most of the responsibility for the Republicans’ failure to regain the Senate.

He selected a succession of losers, including Herschel Walker in Georgia, Blake Masters in Arizona, Dr. Oz in Pennsylvania, and Don Bolduc in New Hampshire.

DeSantis, on the other hand, easily won by double digits to win a second term in Florida.

As a consequence, prominent party officials and significant funders have lined up behind DeSantis.

The results of the polls show the change. The Florida governor had a 14-point advantage, according to a study conducted last week for the Wall Street Journal.

Trump supporters have retaliated, arguing that it is always incorrect to dismiss the previous president based only on the opinions of the party elite and highlighting his influence over Republican grassroots voters.

Because of this, Trump may run into problems with the suspicions swirling about the Phoenix conference center.

I get what Tucker was trying to say, a participant who wished to remain anonymous did.

Trump was a fantastic leader. In his role as governor, DeSantis is excelling.

There is an indication that Trump is an outdated candidate.

Kirk, a constant Trump supporter on right-wing media, said DeSantis was a close friend of his and that the former president had earned the right to run for office again.

Prior to the occasion, he spoke with DailyMail.com and said, “I believe he’s America’s finest governor.”

“I believe he has the potential to become one of the greatest presidents in American history, but I am certain that Trump was the finest leader during my lifetime.” I’m standing behind him.

That presents the best case scenario for many attendees: another four years of Trump serving as president before turning the reins over to DeSantis.

Many others were also considering the worst case scenario as two political giants who shared much of the same ground faced off with the potential to split the party.

Kirk said, “I don’t want to see it take place.”

But, in my opinion, Ron DeSantis has the capacity to develop into the kind of transformative leader who comes along just once in a lifetime.

Carlson claims that the conclusion is unexpected at the very least.

I’ve never lived in a place where people would casually exclaim, “I’m so delighted we have our governor,” at a dinner party, he remarked. Was he really here? No, I just adore him.

However, I’m really appreciative that Donald Trump ran in 2016. My whole worldview was dramatically altered by Donald Trump.

DeSantis isn’t even in the race yet. Any decision, according to his supporters, is unlikely until the Florida legislature session concludes in May.

At America Fest, Trump’s name was still regularly mentioned in talks, and nobody has yet claimed that the former president’s support base had deserted him.

However, support for DeSantis indicates that Trump won’t have it all his own way while seeking the Republican nomination.
