Horror on rollercoaster as man is transported to hospital

‘Horrific’ screaming was heard, according to a witness, at a theme park when a rollercoaster went off its rails and critically wounded a man.

Following yesterday’s accident at the Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, the man had a “severe” medical emergency and had to be taken to the hospital right away.

A representative for the park stated in a statement that it was immediately closed to visitors and promptly evacuated.

Early in the afternoon, the Welsh Ambulance Service and an air ambulance arrived at the location. The Health and Safety Executive has now opened an inquiry into the 30 year-old ride.

Witnesses recalled the horrifying crash’s aftermath, including the screams of those stuck within the rollercoaster.

One visitor to the amusement park said that immediately before to the disaster, he attempted to ride the rollercoaster but was denied access due to engineering maintenance.

Ten minutes later, he returned and saw the rollercoaster had veered off the rails.

Less than a minute into the ride, he claimed to have heard horrifying screams, seen the rear end of the coaster swerving off the track, seen a girl sobbing hysterically, and seen what looked to be the bar lifted.

We had to get off the ride at a curve, and staff members were there to assist. I deduced that someone must have exited the ride when I saw a cellphone and a flip-flop on the grass.

I asked a group of shocked females if they were okay, but it was obvious that they weren’t.

“When I went to get my luggage, I saw a man laying face down beside a staff member and a paramedic. Although he wasn’t moving, personnel subsequently informed me that he was aware and speaking.

According to a lady who talked with BBC Wales, the event was “serious.”

She informed the announcer that her family had been riding the park’s Treetops ride when everything had occurred. The park hasn’t attested to this.

According to a video Rhodri Mason posted on Twitter, a Welsh Air Ambulance helicopter can be seen flying into the area.

According to its website, the modest family park debuted in the late 1980s and has been operating the Treetops rollercoaster for for 30 years.

A beautiful journey through the park’s surrounding trees is promised by the “family ride.”

You’ll twist, bend, and plunge through the forest canopy while perched high in the trees.

This ride, one of our most well-liked rollercoasters, has been delighting families for over 30 years.

The Dyfed Powys Police are conducting investigations with the Health and Safety Executive, which has verified that it is doing so.
