Heather Dubrow, a cast member of the reality TV show “Real Housewives of Orange County,” has announced on Instagram that her youngest child, 12-year-old Ace, is transgender.
Dubrow shared a picture of a beach with “Ace” written in sand to mark International Sons Day and accompanied the post with a message that expressed love and support for Ace.
She emphasized that their job as parents is to create a safe and supportive environment where their children can grow up to be healthy, happy, confident, independent humans.
Dubrow acknowledged that Ace will share his own story someday, should he choose to do so, but in the meantime, he has his family’s love and support.
Dubrow’s post received a lot of supportive comments from followers, including former “RHOC” star Alexis Bellino and executive producer of the “Real Housewives” franchises, Andy Cohen.
Others commented on Dubrow’s best mom skills and praised her for setting a great example of unconditional acceptance for every child.
In 2020, Dubrow celebrated her eldest daughter, Max, coming out as bisexual. Two years later, she revealed that her daughter Kat is a lesbian. Dubrow previously mentioned that Max and Kat’s coming out stories were met with love and support from their parents.
Kat expressed her appreciation for her mother’s support and her eagerness to learn more about her daughter’s journey.
