Glen Waverley’s sex act Mad Monday wrecked a pub

After alarming video of colleagues engaging in sexual actions on one another surfaced, a football team summoned an urgent meeting of all players.

On August 14, following their final game, the Glen Waverley Football Club players celebrated Mad Monday in a boisterous manner in a Melbourne bar.

Customers claimed the raucous gang took drinks from behind the bar, danced on tables, destroyed glasses inside and outside the pub, and vaped within.

They said that players were abusive to other patrons and that bathrooms were vandalised and coated in vomit.

When one player lost a bet to another, the misbehaviour got worse. He was forced to perform a sex act in the bar while his colleagues applauded him.

The scandal surrounding the video garnered worldwide attention, and American tabloids even covered it.

All players have been called to an emergency meeting next week when the problem will be addressed, according to club senior president Matt Hollard.

He claimed that because so many players attended the unofficial festivities, the squad chose to address what transpired as a whole.

Mr. Hollard claimed that club representatives had spoken to the players in the video and that everything was fine.

Although we are angry with what they did, he continued, “We need to check on them to make sure they’re OK as they go through it and work on themselves.”

There will be consequences because we’ll be taking action.

Since the video went viral on social media on Tuesday night and especially since it made headlines on Thursday, according to Mr. Hollard, the club has come under intense criticism.

When information like that circulates on social media, he said, “There isn’t much you can do, and we’re dealing with the consequences – as usual.”

To be honest, it’s been difficult for the committee members who have given their blood, sweat, and tears to the club.

The past 24 hours have been “nearly intolerable, unremitting.”

The players didn’t have much to rejoice about after placing bottom in Division 3 of the Eastern League and being demoted to Division 4.

In a previous statement, the Glen Waverley Football Club promised to take ‘prompt action’ against the players responsible for both the vulgar video and the disruptive behaviour.

The statement read, “The committee has been informed of an event that took place during the post-season celebrations of several of our senior playing group.”

Although this took place outside of the club and was not approved by the club, we are deeply sorry and disappointed by the conduct of those who ought to know better.

The club is acting right away to address the grave violation of our culture and values that this occurrence has shown.

Club representatives stated that all players engaged, not just the two who committed the sex act, would face penalties.

The statement read, “The people implicated, along with the larger playing group, will face discipline, education, and, if necessary, counselling in the kind of conduct required of members of our club.”

Along with the negative effects this has had on the families affected, the club, the players, and the larger community.

There are no other comments at this time, and we ask that their well-being be respected while they deal with the incident’s effects.
