Georgia woman intentionally drove her vehicle into Popeyes restaurant after biscuits were mistakenly left out of her order

Officials say that a Georgia woman intentionally drove her car into a Popeyes restaurant after biscuits were mistakenly left out of her order.

Belinda H. Miller, 50, has been charged with first-degree criminal damage to property and aggravated assault.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an accident with injuries at the Popeyes location in Augusta.

The store manager reported to the police that Miller became agitated after realizing that her order lacked biscuits and proceeded to drive her SUV into the restaurant’s entrance.

The manager noted that the error was rectified, and the biscuits were handed to Miller before the accident happened.

The woman had threatened the staff before the incident, including calling the store and threatening to drive her vehicle into the building.

According to arrest warrants, Miller almost hit an 18-year-old worker with her car as she crashed into the store, and she continued to drive until debris stopped her vehicle.

Following the collision, the woman fled the scene and drove south on Gordon Highway.

Her car was found damaged at her home later. Miller was apprehended and taken to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Georgia.

On Wednesday, she was given a bond of over $4,000, but it is uncertain if she is still in custody.
