According to reports, Britney Spears’ Doberman, Porsha, bit an elderly cyclist after escaping from her California mansion, resulting in a warning from animal control. Porsha was given to Spears by her husband, Sam Asghari, to protect her from potential threats.
The incident occurred when the dog encountered a man in his 70s who was getting off his bike, and a member of Spears’ security team had to intervene. Animal control subsequently contacted Spears, Asghari, and their security team to prevent a recurrence.
Asghari later posted an Instagram video thanking the Dog Says Animal Search and Rescue group for finding Porsha and another dog that had also escaped. The elderly man went to a local urgent care facility to receive treatment for the bite.
Porsha joined the Spears household in 2021 after Asghari surprised Spears with the pup as she filmed the moment. The dog was intended to protect the pop star from potential danger. Porsha was added to the family shortly after Spears temporarily lost her other two dogs due to concerns about their nutritional needs.
Following the incident, Spears reportedly confronted her former housekeeper over the incident and allegedly slapped the housekeeper’s phone out of her hand during an argument. Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies were called, but no charges were filed.
