Kefilwe Mabote, a South African businesswoman and influencer, recently traveled to the opulent town of Cannes, France, to attend the Cannes Film Festival, where she met supermodel Bella Hadid.
Kefilwe had no idea that her friends were arranging a surprise party to congratulate her and her accomplishments while she was abroad.
“Just when you think you grasp what love and support are, God presents you with people who outdo that meaning,” she commented in response to the surprise party, which she was chauffeured to in a Rolce Royce.
“Thank you to my people for throwing me such a beautiful welcome home surprise party! I’ll cherish this one forever.
Mamkhize, who was also involved in the planning wrote to Kefilwe: “About last night Kefilwe we came out to celebrate you, cold weather and all. When a space is filled with love all you can feel is its warmth. We love you, darling, keep shining.”
Thanking Mamkhize for her support, Kefilwe says she “can’t begin to fathom the lengths of sacrifice that went into you (Mamkhize) showing up last night and I don’t take it lightly. I’ve said this already but I appreciate and love you so much. I’ll never forget this.”
