Jihad Ward of the Giants gives an inside peek at the crazy locker room celebration: ‘I’m getting intoxicated.’

The Giants’ postseason-clinching celebrations continued beyond head coach Brian Daboll’s Gatorade bath.

After the Giants defeated the Colts on Sunday, 38-10, and clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2016, linebacker Jihad Ward welcomed fans into the MetLife Stadium locker room, where he and his teammates, including quarterback Daniel Jones, celebrated.

“I’m getting intoxicated,” 28-year-old Ward stated during an Instagram Live appearance by 25-year-old Jones.

Defensive tackle Leonard Williams made a cameo appearance and said, “Let’s go darling, we’re in!”

The Giants (9-6-1) will open the NFC playoffs on the road against the No. 3 seed. It remains to be determined whether the Giants will go to San Francisco to face the 49ers (12-4) or return to Minnesota for a rematch against the Vikings (12-4), who defeated Big Blue 27-24 on Christmas Eve.

Jones had a great performance on Sunday, throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for two more before receiving a curtain call in the fourth quarter and receiving adulation from the home crowd.

On January 1, 2023, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones looks to throw against the Colts.

Jones stated following the game, “I’m very appreciative and thankful.” “It certainly beats the alternative. Extremely grateful for the fans and their support.”

Next Sunday, the Giants will conclude the regular season against the Eagles (13-3) in Philadelphia.
