The Forensic Crash Unit is conducting an investigation after a deadly collision between a truck and pedestrian in Glenmore yesterday night (January 20).
Initial investigations show a man was walking northbound on the Bruce Highway at 10:30 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle.
The 25-year-old male from Bargara was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver, a forty-year-old man from Leichhardt, was not physically injured and is cooperating authorities.
Police are requesting any witnesses or anybody who may have been in the neighbourhood at the time and may have a dashcam to contact them.
The investigation is underway.
