‘Everything she was saying came off like bulls***’: a man lifts lid on Heard-Depp

According to a guy claiming to be one of the seven jurors in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial, they felt Heard was untrustworthy and a gaslighter, and described her as the ‘instigator’ of the marital violence.

In his TikTok video, the alleged juror stated that he wanted to remain anonymous. The names of the jurors are kept secret for a year after the trial, but they are free to come forward and share their own experiences.

The jurors in Fairfax, Virginia, listened to the evidence for six weeks before deliberating for 12 hours before reaching a decision on Wednesday afternoon.

In his first TikTok video, the juror began, “So today was my last day of being a juror on the Amber Heard-Johnny Depp trial.”

‘And, while I like to stay anonymous, I thought I’d share some of my opinions on the trial.’

He claimed he didn’t know anything about the 36-year-old Texan actress or Depp, 58, before the trial started.

‘I don’t follow pop culture too much so I haven’t really been a fan of Johnny Depp or Amber Heard, so I feel like I can be pretty unbiased about the whole thing,’ he said.

‘But from the very beginning, when Amber Heard was testifying, everything just seemed so off with how she kept making eye contact with me, and it made me extremely uncomfortable – to the extent where I would no longer look over at her, when she was giving her answers.

‘I would just listen intently, and everything she was saying came off like bulls***.’

He said that, after the trial ended, he scrolled through TikTok and ‘it blows my mind how every single person seemed to be commenting on how weird’ her eye contact was.

‘That was my gut feeling, after all the information in the trial,’ he said.

‘But, Amber Heard. What a crazy woman.’

One TikTok user commented: ‘It was killing me to know if the jury was uncomfortable with Ambers stare down.

‘I was uncomfortable just watching it on tv. I felt bad for you guys.’

He replied: ‘Couldn’t even look at her anymore.’

In a second video, he was asked how he felt about Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, ‘basically accusing all you jurors of not following the rules?’

The juror replied: ‘I’m trying to view this from a place of empathy and understanding.

‘I’m not sure if you guys noticed how much Amber Heard was gaslighting Johnny Depp.

‘She could never admit she was wrong.

He was then questioned in greater detail about how the other four men and two women arrived at the compensation figure.

Following the publishing of a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he claimed hurt his career, Depp sued for $50 million in lost profits; Heard countersued for $100 million.

The jury gave him $15 million in damages, with $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, or the punishment for libel. Depp’s punitive damages are restricted to $350,000 under Virginia law, bringing his total award little over $10 million.

Compensation was given to Heard in the amount of $2 million.
