Detectives investigate former teacher’s disappearance as murder

The disappearance of a former teacher at one of Scotland’s premier private schools is being investigated as murder by detectives.

Peter Coshan, a professor at Edinburgh’s Fettes College, was last seen in the Seafield neighbourhood of the city at at 11.50 p.m. on Thursday of last week.

The following day, it was announced that the retired biology instructor was gone.

Two individuals, 27 and 63 years old, have been detained and accused in relation to the disappearance.

According to police, they think Mr. Coshan, 75, is dead and are considering the incident as a homicide.

His remains have not yet been located. Today, the two men are scheduled to appear before the Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

Between 1972 to 2005, Mr. Coshan served as a professor at Fettes College, which boasts Tony Blair among its graduates.

Mr. Coshan oversaw the Duke of Edinburgh programme there for 33 years, including the first voyage on which a female student participated.

Among those who paid homage to the instructor were former pupils from the £9,275 per term institution.

He was one of my professors and the nicest guy who had time for everyone who needed encouragement, a joke, or simply a good conversation, according to Jozefine Cox. Please assist in finding him so that his family may bury him.

The disappearance of Mr. Coshan was deemed “out of character” and provoked a massive police investigation.

The public is being asked for any information relating to the death of Mr. Coshan by Police Scotland’s major investigation unit.

Detective Superintendent Andrew Patrick stated: “Peter’s family is in need right now, and our thoughts are with them deeply.”

Numerous searches are being made to find Peter, and I would strongly advise anybody with information to get in touch with the police right now.

Please provide police with any information you may have since it might be crucial.
