Detectives have been handed a further 36 hours to question suspects in the shooting of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel, following the arrest of a fourth man in 24 hours.
Merseyside Police have been granted a further 36 hours to interview three suspects.
Another man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
The 34-year-old man from Liverpool was detained on suspicion of aiding a criminal.
It is the fourth arrest made by officers probing the death within twenty-four hours.

Merseyside Police have been granted additional time to continue interviewing three males who were arrested on Sunday morning.
This includes a 34-year-old man from Liverpool who was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in the Runcorn region early on Sunday morning.
Police have detained a fourth suspect in connection with the man of nine-year-old Olivia.
The police are interrogating a 34-year-old man from Liverpool who was arrested on suspicion of aiding a criminal. Officers stopped him on the M42 in the Midlands, according to Merseyside Police.
Following his arrest on Sunday evening, the man’s vehicle was also impounded, according to a police spokesperson.
Officers probing the death of Olivia, who was shot in her house in Dovecot, Liverpool, on August 22nd, arrested three individuals in the span of twenty-four hours over the weekend.
Olivia Pratt-Korbel, age 9, was shot and killed in her family’s home after a gun pursuit spilled into the residence. In the past twenty-four hours, four guys have been arrested in connection with the murder.
This includes a Knowsley resident, age 41, and a Liverpool resident, age 29, who are being questioned on suspicion of supporting a criminal.
Sunday saw the execution of warrants at two locations in Liverpool, according to police.
Olivia was shot in the chest on August 22 by a gunman wearing a balaclava who was alleged to be involved in a gangland conflict and was pursuing a paroled ex-convict in the Dovecot neighborhood of the city.
Olivia’s mother, 46-year-old Cheryl Korbel, had opened the door to check what was going outside when 35-year-old Joseph Nee forced his way into the home.
The assailant fired shots into the residence, striking Olivia, her mother Cheryl, and the fleeing 35-year-old in the upper body.
After Olivia’s mother opened the door to investigate the noises outside, 35-year-old Joseph Nee forced his way inside her home to escape the shooter pursuing him.
Prior to this, police appealed to the public and other offenders to turn in the murderer of Olivia.
Merseyside Police had previously released surveillance footage of this person, whom they suspected to be the shooter.
It is believed that Nee’s associates drove him to the hospital following the shooting, leaving Olivia behind.
Police officers took her to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital upon their arrival, but an hour later she was pronounced dead.
A postmortem examination revealed that a gunshot wound to the chest was the cause of her death.
Officers had already distributed CCTV footage of the two men they were attempting to locate in relation to the terrible incident; one of whom was in the vicinity at the time and the other was a suspect.
They also appealed directly to the shooter’s criminal associates to turn him up.
The loss of the child has prompted an outpouring of grief and horror from the residents of Merseyside, with more than 200 people attending a memorial in her memory last night.
The murder of Olivia stunned the citizens of Liverpool, who put dozens of floral tributes near her home.

Mark Kameen, detective chief superintendent and head of investigations, cautioned individuals who are “shielding” the perpetrator that officers “will do all legally possible to bring you to justice.”
He continued, “It is incomprehensible how anyone could defend a person guilty for the death of a nine-year-old daughter.”
After the arrests, Mr. Kameen stated, ‘I continue to urge anyone with information that can aid our investigation into Olivia’s horrific murder to come forward so that we can bring the perpetrators to justice.
‘Numerous arrests have been made in relation to this inquiry.
‘However, we still need the public’s assistance to develop a solid picture of evidence so that justice can be given to Olivia and her family.

In relation to Olivia’s death, a 36-year-old man from Huyton and a 33-year-old man from Dovecot who were detained on suspicion of murder and two counts of attempted murder have been freed on bail.
